RevolutionRace will soon be launching its new website. As part of this initiative, they have chosen Unifaun as a strategic partner to help enhance the delivery experience in all markets using Unifaun DeliveryCheckout. Previously, RevolutionRace only offered standard shipping options, but now they’ll be giving customers more flexible shipping options to choose from. Allowing consumers to choose the carrier they want to use for their parcels is more or less a must nowadays for companies that want to compete.

Identified need to configure without developers

Once RevolutionRace had made the decision to launch a new webshop, they had to choose whether to add all possible logistics services themselves, or to find a product that already includes everything. When you consider the fact that logistics services can quickly change and will need to be maintained as the company grows, and products have to be sent to other countries, the choice was something of a no-brainer.

Unifaun was of interest because it offers a product that online retailers can configure without having to purchase consultancy services – and this was a basic prerequisite for RevolutionRace.

“Our priority was to get up and running quickly with as little hassle as possible. We want to be able to offer the delivery options requested by our customers in the different markets and their respective languages. And that is exactly the outcome we got”, says Carl Orvinder, CTO at RevolutionRace

RevolutionRace doesn’t have its own storage solution: it uses Unifaun as a stand-alone module. The solution will primarily be incorporated in Klarna Shipping Service, but it will also be supplemented with a stand-alone widget that Unifaun offers. This is for markets where Klarna isn’t operating as yet, or where other payment solutions are more common, such as in Italy and the Czech Republic. A total of 14 webshops, 11 languages and 8 currencies will be managed initially.
