Unifaun AB and group companies (Unifaun or we/us) care about your personal privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect and use personal data. It also explains your rights in relation to us and how you can exercise your rights.

If you use Unifaun Services (such as Unifaun Online, Unifaun TMS, Unifaun WebTA or similar) you will likely be processing personal data of other persons (typically name, address, e-mail, phone number of consignees, consignors or other parties associated with shipments). In that context you will be acting as Personal data controller and as such, it is your responsibility to make sure that the processing complies with GDPR. Please refer to the Data Processing Agreement between you (as a customer to Unifaun) and Unifaun for details regarding that relation.
When you buy or apply for one our services or products, fill out online forms or otherwise contact us you may share contact and identification information (name, billing and shipping address, phone number, email address, tracking number) with us.
You can at any time change your profile information such as your contact information and other editable settings. This can be done either in the service you use or by contacting us.
When you use our service, we may collect the following information about you, either our self or via third parties:
When purchasing our services, we may process your name, postal address, email address, phone number, ip-address.
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
Whenever you visit/use our Digital Channels, we collect information that you have chosen to submit to us, e.g. names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and other personal data.
We may also process information regarding your usage of our Digital Channels, such as transaction history and technical data relating to the device you use to access our Digital Channels, e.g. IP addresses, unique device ID and type of web browser.
Unifaun has placed so-called “cookies” on several of our Digital Channels. Through these, information on how you are using the Digital Channel in question is collected. You can find more information on which cookies Unifaun has placed on our Digital Channels, and how to remove these cookies in our cookie policy.
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
When you are in contact with us via, for example, customer service functions, we process information related to your customer service request. If you are visiting or communicating with us through our social media accounts (i.e. third party platforms such as Facebook and Twitter) Unifaun may receive information on your profile and your interactions on such platforms from the third party platform provider.
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
Unifaun will always adhere to applicable data protection legislation when processing your personal data. We process your personal data when this is necessary in order to perform an agreement with you or to respond to a customer service request you have made, or when we have a legitimate and compelling interest for processing your personal data, e.g. an interest to market ourselves to visitors of our Digital Channels or an interest in developing and improving our services.
The time period for which your personal data is stored by us varies depending on the purpose of the data collection. Unifaun saves personal data about you as a customer as long as we have customer-supplier relationship or it is necessary for any other reason stated in this policy. On termination of the agreement, Unifaun will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period of time after termination, unless other Swedish or European law, court or authority states otherwise. Your data can also be saved, based on the legal ground of pursueing a legitimate interest. Personal data collected when you contact us is stored as long as you are a customer with us so that we can fulfil our commitment. On completion of a customer relationship, we can store it, based on the legal ground of pursueing a legitimate interest, as evidential material in the event of problems that may arise.
We may share personal data with subcontractors to Unifaun both inside and outside the EU/EEA. When we share your personal data, we take all reasonable contractual, legal, technical, and organisational measures to ensure that your personal data is treated with an adequate level of protection and in accordance with applicable law. If you wish to exercise any of your rights, or wish to acquire more information regarding any of said rights, or the conditions for exercising them, we ask that you contact us via the contact information in the section 8.
