SUPPORT AGENT AT UNIFAUN STOCKHOLM
Sofie is a woman of many means. She is a fan of growing, zombies and gaming and is known at work for giving away chili plants to everyone that will take one. She lives with her family in an apartment that is often more of a jungle of pots with tomatoes, chilis, peppers, cucumbers and squash. On weekends and holidays she enjoys her countryhouse.
Originally a Swedish West Coast girl, Sofie grew up in Hälsö outside Gothenburg before moving to Stockholm in 1998. She studied archeology, political science, museum education and the European program focusing on human geography. A little unexpectedly this all led to the logistics industry and work as Head Coach on Citymail where she, among many things, became a forklift instructor before landing at Unifaun.
What do you like most about your job?
-I like that it´s so varied. It´s just as satisfying helping an inexperienced customer having troubles logging in, as it is to cave down in an EDI file searching for the root cause of the problem. Even though there are recurring questions, it is different people every time and the questions get a new twist. You never know what to expect.
How does the support at Unifaun work?
-When you are new you always start by listening in and then do a couple of weeks on first line. First line is the calls and mails that are quickly solved. Second line is the errands demanding more time. We usually switch between first and second line every 2-3 weeks so everybody gets to work with everything.
What is your favourite benefit at Unifaun?
-I like Benify, you can find everything there. But we also have a very good wellness grant. And the massage has been nice.
Tell us about a special talent you have?
-I´m a bit of a MacGyver. One time I fixed a moped with a band-aid and a piece of gum. You take what you have.
